1. Business Information

SaFire Candles is a UK based sole trader business.

2. Products

SaFire Candles manufactures and sells handmade candles and wax products. We also supply selected third-party accessories, including candle warmer lamps, wax burners and bulbs. 

Minor variations in colour, appearance or scent strength may occur due to the handmade nature of our products. 

3. Third-Party Products

Certain products available on our website, including candle warmer lamps, wax burners and bulbs, are supplied by third-party manufacturers. 

While we carefully select the products we stock, we are not the manufacturer of these items. Manufacturer instructions and safety guidance should always be followed. 

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. 

4. Product Compatibility & Use

Customers are responsible for ensuring that candle warmer lamps, wax burners and bulbs are used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. 

SaFire Candles is not liable for damage caused by improper use, incompatible bulbs, or failure to follow safety guidance. 

5. Bulbs & Consumable Components

Halogen bulbs supplied with and for candle warmer lamps are consumable components and have a limited operational lifespan. Bulb longevity will vary depending on usage patterns and operating conditions. 

Normal wear and tear, including bulb failure after a period of use, does not constitute a fault. 

If a bulb is faulty on arrival or fails prematurely due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 30 days of receipt and we will assess the issue in line with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 

Replacement bulbs are available for purchase separately. 

6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£). 

We reserve the right to amend any prices at any time. Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched. 

7. Orders

All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or suspected fraud. 

8. Delivery

Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier services or events outside our control. 

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery. 

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, product descriptions, images and designs are the intellectual property of SaFire Candles and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission. 

10. Candle Safety Disclaimer

Candles have open flames and must be used responsibly. 

By purchasing from SaFire Candles, you agree to follow safe usage guidance:

Never leave a burning candle unattended

Keep away from children and pets

Keep away from flammable materials

Trim wick to approximately 5mm before each burn

Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time

Place on a heat-resistant surface.

SaFire Candles accepts no liability for damage caused by misus or failure to follow safety instructions. 

11. Limitation of Liability 

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods supplied. 

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence

Fraud or fraudulent mispresentation

Any rights you have under UK consumer law

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control. 

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
